1. Poweramp Music Player
Price: Free Trial / $ 4.99
Poweramp is one of the most popular and most functional local music players on Android. It basically has all the features including high-res audio support, Android Auto, an equalizer, gapless smoothing and support for virtually any audio codec. It also supports devices such as the LG V60 and its quad DAC. The UI has a small share of learning, but is one of the better-looking music players as well as optional topics in the Google Play Store. There are other great music apps here, but the best is arguably losing the title of PowerRamp.
2. Pulse SMS or Android Message
Price: $ 10.99 free / $ once per month
There are a ton of great SMS apps. However, two stand out from the rest. They are Pulse SMS and Android messages. Pulse SMS has theming, GIF support, password protected conversion, blacklist for spammers, dual-sim support and more. Android messaging is a bit more basic but it's simple and it works. Both these apps also provide SMS messaging from your desktop. Pulse charge is either a monthly subscription or a $ 10.99 charge while Android Messaging is free. Pulse SMS uses a server structure while Android Message Live streams your messages. Both methods have their pros and cons, but they are both still excellent options for accessing your lessons. If you do not need desktop texting then Textra is another great option and you can find even better SMS app here. Pulse SMS also went open source in early 2020.
3. Integrated Explorer
Price: Free Trial / $ 2.99
File browsing is something everyone essentially has to do (or wants), so you can do it with a capable, great file browser as well. Solid explorer is very good because it is found in the scope of file explorer apps. It has material design, archiving support, support for the most popular cloud services and even some more power user accessories such as FTP, SFPT, WebDav and SMB / CIFS support. It looks great, it's incredibly stable, and it just works well. It has a 14-day free trial with a $ 2.99 price tag at the end. It is, by far, the best file manager on Android for most people. If this does not work for you, here are some other outstanding file browsers.
4. Tasker and IFTTT
Price: $ 2.99 and free respectively
If you are patient to learn how to use the application, Tasker is a great application. What this does is allow users to create custom built commands and then use them at different locations. There are many apps that have tasker support and you can also use Tasker to create very complex commands for NFC tags. It is difficult to explain what this app can do because it can do so many things. Between supported apps, plugs you an add, and the sheer amount of stuff you can do, there are many apps out there that are useful in this way. IFTTT is another excellent automation app. In some cases, it can be even better than Tasker thanks to its simplicity and wide range of uses. Tasker is also available free as part of Google Play Pass. There are some other great Android tools and utility apps, but none of them can go as far as Tasker and IFTTT.
5. Ticking
Price: Free per year / $ 27.99
TickTick is not as popular as other to-do list apps. However, it may be best. It covers the basics like recurring tasks, reminders, push notifications, various organizational features and categories. The app also lets you share tasks and entire categories with others. This makes it great for family use, small teams at work, or other such groups. It is also great for ingredients like grocery list, honey list or any other list. You get all the features for free, some in limited capacity, such as two tasks per reminder (premium makes that infinite). It is also a great alternative to Wunderlist. Some other excellent options in the space include Todoist and Microsoft to Do. Yes, we also have a complete list of the best to list apps
Price: Free / $ 12.99 +
We do not usually recommend streaming services to people. After all, everyone has their own preferences and there are so many great options. However, we really like the combination of YouTube music and YouTube. For one price, you get unlimited music from YouTube Music with enough tracks to compete with Spotify and Apple Music. However, you do get background video play and offline downloading as well as ad-free YouTube. One of the best deals for video and audio streaming is a bunch of one-two with Hulu, Disney + and ESPN + bundles for $ 12.99 per month. In fact, the two combined should basically cover all your video and audio streaming needs. Our only complaint is the lower than average music quality on YouTube Music. Audiofills wants to test hi-fi options such as Tidal or Deezer, whether those services are premium or one of these music streaming apps.
7. Pledge
Price: Free per month / $ 0.99 / $ 4.99 per year
Last, but certainly not least Z on our list. It is a wallpaper, ringtone, notification tone and alarm tone app that gives you an incredible number of options to customize the most basic parts of your device. On top of having an entire collection of things, Z also promotes various items during the holiday season, making it easy to theme your phone for Christmas, Halloween and other holidays. This is not 100% correct. It has occasional bugs and some really annoying advertisements. Zedge Premium is a new initiative to provide premium content at a reasonable price. You see the ad or fill out a survey to earn Z credits as well. There are other great ringtone apps and great wallpaper apps. However, Z is the only one who does both reliably.
